Graduation Banner Do’s & Don'ts

Graduation banners are very popular this time of year. Creating the perfect custom banner to commemorate the occasion and celebrate your graduate’s accomplishment is important. Here are some Do’s and Don’ts you may want to consider when creating your graduation banner:

DO Use bold contrasting colors like black, white and red or dark blue, yellow and white.  Also feel free to incorporate school colors or the graduate’s favorite colors as well. This will help personalize your banner. 

DO Keep it simple. Do not try to put in too much content on the banner. You do not want to try to print a small paragraph on your banner. You want the print to be large, bold and visible from a distance.

DO Choose an experienced printer. Find a reputable local printer that will fully assist with your banner to ensure that the process goes smoothly from design to print.

DON’T Wait until the last minute to start the process. You want to give yourself plenty of time for proper design, printing and pickup or delivery. 

DON’T Guess when it comes to the size of banner you need. Measure the area where the banner will be hung so you can ensure that it fits appropriately in that space.
