Happy Thanksgiving From The ASAP Signs Team

This is a perfect time of year to take a moment to simply appreciate all you have to be thankful for. Life is not all about receiving though. Giving is an even more important part of our story. At ASAP Signs, we believe that contributing to the community around us during the holidays and throughout the year is paramount.

A few of the ways in which we better the local community around us includes donating banners and signs to worthy local organizations. We are especially proud to have done just that for the Walton High School Takedown Wrestling Club. We also discount our signs and banners for local churches and other non-profits. ASAP Signs also donated installation time to the Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Cartersville.

We love being a part of the Cobb County community and appreciate the support they have shown us for so many years. We sincerely hope you and your entire family have a beautiful Thanksgiving Holiday!

3 Things You Should Consider When Buying A Custom Banner

The right custom banner can attract attention and elevate the look of your event. It’s important to customize your banner in the correct way to maximize its effectiveness and appeal.  Here are 3 things to consider when buying a custom banner:

1. WHAT SIZE BANNER DO YOU NEED?
It is a good idea to take measurements of the area where you want the banner placed. Then you will need to consider how much of the area you want the banner to cover.  For example, if a wall is 20 feet wide and 8 feet tall, filling an area with a banner that is 10 feet wide and 4 feet tall may be sufficient. Once you have a general idea of size, then you can contact your signage professional for further recommendations and to place your order.

2. WHAT COLORS SHOULD I USE ON MY BANNER?
You will want to choose colors that stand out and have a sharp contrast. For example, Yellow & Black, Red & White, Black & White, Red & Yellow, Violet & White and Sapphire Blue & White. If a logo is going to be placed on the banner, it would be best to go with a contrasting background color to make the logo more noticeable.

3. WHAT MATERIAL SHOULD I USE FOR MY BANNER?
Choosing the correct type of banner material is dependent on where the banner will be used (indoor or outdoor), exposure (how long will the banner be out in the elements), banner finish (matte or gloss) and cost. Common options are polyurethane and vinyl. Your sign company should be able to advise you on what material will be best based on banner usage.
